Meet the Doctor
Dr. Christopher Callan grew up in Ocean City, New Jersey. He completed his undergraduate education at Villanova University, where he earned his bachelor’s degree in Biology. Dr. Callan continued his studies and received his Master’s Degree in Biomedicine from The Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine. He then spent several years working for the American Red Cross.
Dr. Callan later left the Red Cross to pursue his dream of becoming an orthodontist. He received his DMD degree from Rutgers School of Dental Medicine, where he graduated with the highest honors. Dr. Callan then completed his orthodontic residency at Montefiore Medical Center, in New York. During his second year of residency, he received the American Academy of Orthodontics Award for outstanding achievement in Orthodontics.
Dr. Callan is a member of the American Dental Association, the New Jersey Dental Association, the American Academy of Orthodontics, and the American Board of Orthodontics. He strives to always continue his orthodontic education so he can stay up to date on the most current and efficient treatment options for his patients.
When he is not in the office, Dr. Callan enjoys traveling, cheering on the Villanova Wildcats basketball team, and spending time with his wife (some of you may know her as Dr. Kristy of Mercer Children’s Dentistry), and their six children.

Monica
Treatment Coordinator/Office Manager
Monica brings more than just her bright smile and friendly nature to Callan Orthodontics. Prior to her career in the dental field, she worked for 15 years not only all over the country, but the world, with the leading companies in the hospitality industry. She strives to make each patient’s experience at Callan Orthodontics different from that at any other medical office. Compassionate care and concierge service, where you, the patient, truly matter.

Our Talented Orthodontic Assistants
Angela
27-year-old Angela has lived in Mercer County her entire life. She has a twin sister and enjoys spending time with friends and family. Angela is currently finishing up dental assisting school and looks forward to her new career in the dental field.
Kim
Kim has been involved in the dental field as an assistant for eight years. Recently graduated Rutgers university with a Bachelors in biology, she is currently pursuing a Masters degree. When not working, she enjoys spending time with her family and traveling.
Michael
Michael is a Registered Dental Assistant with a passion for working with kids. He is currently a senior at Rowan University working towards a bachelors degree in child psychology. After graduation, Michael hopes to take what he has learned through his years of experience in the dental field and attend dental school himself. When Michael is not at work or school he enjoys traveling, skiing, and being with friends and family.
Monica
Monica, more commonly known around the office as “Twitch,” has been working as an orthodontic assistant for the past three years. She is currently studying dental hygiene and plans to go on and receive her dental hygiene degree. When not at work she enjoys crocheting and her cats.
Gabby
29-year-old Gabby hails from Hillside, NJ. She’s been a registered dental assistant for six years now, and loves what she does – she’d have to, with the hour she has to drive to get to work! In her spare time, Gabby enjoys the simple things in life like going on long hikes and taking her dogs to the dog beach.
Kerry
Kerry has been a Registered Dental Assistant since 2000. She is specialized as an Orthodontic Assistant. The patient’s experience is her priority and she works hard to ensure they feel comfortable. Kerry enjoys helping her patients and colleagues succeed. She has two sons, Coy and Antonio, and when she is not working she enjoys relaxing and spending time with family and friends.
